This almost black tulip is a winner for many years. It has huge flowers and will bloom late spring. It comes back every year. Combines well with pink Menton or white Maureen. Tulip bulbs of the largest size 12/+ will be shipped from September.

Plant the flower bulbs in loose soil 10 cm deep. deep and about 5 cm. from each other for a beautiful sea of ​​flowers in the spring. Tulips are best planted in a sunny or semi-shaded spot with a trowel or a special bulb planter. Only during extremely dry periods should you give the flower bulbs some water. Tulips are generally not perennial bulbs and are most beautiful in their first year. It is therefore best to remove the tulip bulbs after flowering and plant new ones in the autumn. Tulip bulbs need a cold period (winter) to bloom. In the open ground they can withstand all weather conditions. In extreme frost, you should place the tulip bulbs planted in pots in a cold shed.

Tulips are very suitable as cut flowers. It is best to cut the stems in the morning and place them in a vase with lukewarm water and cut flower food. The fresh flowers last a long time in your vase.
