A workhorse. The latest tulip I have. I do not even like the blooms, but that color and height pairs well with almost any other tulip. You need that height and contrast in the garden. The flower themselves are small relative to stem size, and do not always open well. It matters not, in the (back)ground or in the vase, it makes other tulips shine.
