Esthers Favourites tulip mixture is new this year and is named after the creative Esther Geneser with the beautiful French-oriented garden Esthers Have in Denmark. She has composed this beautiful mix of Tulip Store tulips. Last year I had the honor to admire her beautiful garden and get to know this lovely woman.

This exclusive mixture consists of four beautiful tulips: the popular 'La Belle Epoque', the orange-brown 'Brown Sugar' and the dark tulips 'Queen of Night' and 'Black Parrot'. The varieties bloom for a long time and your garden will have a luxurious look with this beautiful mix. Esthers Favourites tulip mixture is exclusively available at Tulip Store. Tulip bulbs of the largest size 12/+ will be shipped from September.

Planting advice and care for tulip bulbs:

Plant the flower bulbs in loose soil 10 cm deep. deep and about 5 cm. from each other for a beautiful sea of ​​flowers in the spring. You can plant the flower bulbs from September to December before the frost period with the points pointing up. Tulips are best planted in a sunny or semi-shaded spot with a trowel or a special bulb planter. Only during extremely dry periods should you give the flower bulbs some water. Tulips are generally not perennial bulbs and are most beautiful in their first year. It is therefore best to remove the tulip bulbs after flowering and plant new ones in the autumn. Tulip bulbs need a cold period (winter) to bloom. In the open ground they can withstand all weather conditions. In extreme frost, you should place the tulip bulbs planted in pots in a cold shed.

The tulip as a cut flower:

Tulips are very suitable as cut flowers. It is best to cut the stems in the morning and place them in a vase with lukewarm water and cut flower food. The fresh flowers last a long time in your vase. This way you can put together your own bouquets. Because we only supply the largest tulip bulbs, you also receive the largest flowers.
