Tulipa Hakuun

Hakuun originates from Japan and is named after the legendary Zen Buddhist Haku'un. It produces very large flowers and, thanks to its fresh color, pairs well with almost any tulip. Pairing tip: Sweet Valley tulip and/or Alison Bradley. Tulip bulbs in the largest size 12/+ will be shipped from September.

Planting advice and care for tulip bulbs:

Plant the flower bulbs in loose soil 10 cm deep. deep and about 5 cm. from each other for a beautiful sea of ​​flowers in the spring. You can plant the flower bulbs from September to December before the frost period with the points pointing up. Tulips are best planted in a sunny or semi-shaded spot with a trowel or a special bulb planter. Only during extremely dry periods should you give the flower bulbs some water. Tulips are generally not perennial bulbs and are most beautiful in their first year. It is therefore best to remove the tulip bulbs after flowering and plant new ones in the autumn. Tulip bulbs need a cold period (winter) to bloom. In the open ground they can withstand all weather conditions. In extreme frost, you should place the tulip bulbs planted in pots in a cold shed.
