Tulipa Peptalk

This lovely new peony tulip shows different pastel colours in your garden early spring. Tulip Peptalk changes its colours during flowering. This new tulip starts off cream and then moves to different shades of pink and red, showing a beautiful pattern in its flower. This wonderful tulip is new in our range this year. Combines well with the cream 'Verona' and/or the light pink 'Mystic van Eijk'. Tulip bulbs of the largest size 12/+ will be shipped from September. 

Plant advice and care tulip bulbs:

Plant the flower bulbs in loose soil 10 cm. Deep and about 5 cm. From each other for a beautiful sea of ​​flowers in the spring. You can plant the flower bulbs from September to December for the frost period with the points up. Tulips can best be planted on a sunny or partial shade with a scoop or a special bulb planter. Only with extremely dry periods do you need to water the flower bulbs. Tulips are generally not a multi -year balls and are the best in their first year. It is therefore best to remove the tulip bulbs after flowering and plant new weather in the autumn. Tulip bulbs need a cold period (winter) to bloom. In the open ground they are resistant to all weather conditions. With extreme frost you must put the tulip bulbs planted in pots in a cold barn.

The tulip as cut flower:

Tulips are very suitable as a cut flower. It is best to cut the stems in the morning and put it in a vase with lukewarm water and cut flower food. The fresh flowers stay good in your vase for a long time. In this way you can put together your own bouquets. Because we only supply the largest tulip bulbs, you also get the largest flowers.
