Planting advice and care for tulip bulbs:

Plant the flower bulbs in loose soil 10 cm deep. deep and about 5 cm. from each other for a beautiful sea of ​​flowers in the spring. Tulips are generally not perennial bulbs and are most beautiful in their first year. It is therefore best to remove the tulip bulbs after flowering and plant new ones in the autumn. Tulip bulbs need a cold period (winter) to bloom. In the open ground they can withstand all weather conditions. In extreme frost, you should place the tulip bulbs planted in pots in a cold shed.

Tulips are very suitable as cut flowers. It is best to cut the stems in the morning and place them in a vase with lukewarm water and cut flower food. The fresh flowers last a long time in your vase.
