Narcissus Over Easy

New and exclusive! Narcissus Over Easy was a real eye-catcher this spring among many other daffodils on a grower's land. This wonderful daffodil has a soft orange large crown with a darker edge. During flowering, the crown turns into a lovely darker orange. In combination with its white petals, it is an eyecatcher in any garden that shows its beauty every spring. Narcissus Over Easy is new in our range this year. Combines well with the orange tulip Queensday and/or hyacinth Gipsy Queen. Daffodil bulbs in size 12/14 will be shipped from September.

Planting advice and care for daffodil bulbs:

Plant the flower bulbs in loose soil 10 cm deep and approximately 5 cm apart for a beautiful sea of ​​flowers in the spring. You can plant the flower bulbs from September to December before the frost period with the points upwards. Daffodils are best planted in a sunny or semi-shaded spot with a trowel or a special bulb planter. Only during extremely dry periods should you give the flower bulbs some water. All daffodils are perennial bulbs, which means that you can leave the bulbs in the ground and enjoy them again every spring. Daffodil bulbs need a cold period (winter) to be able to flower. In the open ground they are resistant to all weather conditions. In extreme frost, you should put the daffodil bulbs, planted in pots, in a cold shed.

The daffodil as a cut flower:

Almost all daffodils are very suitable as cut flowers. Only the botanical, lower species are not and you can plant them in the border or in a pot. It is best to cut the stems in the morning and place them in a vase with lukewarm water and cut flower food. The fresh flowers will last a long time in your vase. This way you can compose your own bouquets. Because we only supply the largest daffodil bulbs, you will also receive the largest flowers.
