Tulip bulbs need a cold period (winter) to bloom. In the open ground they can withstand all weather conditions. In extreme frost, you should place the tulip bulbs planted in pots in a cold shed.

Tulips are very suitable as cut flowers. It is best to cut the stems in the morning and place them in a vase with lukewarm water and cut flower food. The fresh flowers last a long time in your vase.
