When are the flower bulbs available?
The flower bulbs of spring bloomers, such as the tulip, are planted by the growers in fall. After flowering in spring, the flowers are removed as soon as possible so all energy will put into the flower bulb. The flower bulb starts to grow after flowering. In July, almost all flower bulbs are harvested. The flower bulbs are then dried, peeled and sorted by size. In August we pack all flower bulbs by hand in paper bags. From September 1st. we will send the first orders to customers throughout Europe. In the first 3 weeks of September we ship all orders received from March to August. From the end of September we ship orders within 2 working days.
